Stable Cottage is, as the name implies, a very cleverly converted period stable building that forms part of the Hawkhurst Court Estate. The manor house dates from 19th century and was used by the Canadian army during World War II. Following this it became a private school, before the estate was converted into private housing in the 1980s. Stable Cottage forms part of the original stable block and has much charm and character with very well-presented and flexible accommodation.
