“When I recently set about interviewing agents for the sale of a house near Petworth, I knew the offering from each agent would be fairly similar. However, on meeting Peter Hughes I realised I had a number of special extra factors to take into consideration. Peter’s knowledge of West Sussex is incredible, due to his long career and decision to live in the area. When he puts a price on a house, you instinctively know he has a mental database that you can rely on. Equally, he has seen enough trades to know what is special and what is not. He will point out and highlight features to best effect and not rely on others making assumptions. This is market making at its best. Another thing that greatly matters is the office team and those dealing with viewings/enquiries. I found a totally professional, mature and extremely sensible group of people, who dealt with daily enquiries and handled all aspects of the sale deftly – so that there was maximum chance of success. The success of sale may be judged on the percentage of the asking price achieved, (in this case 100%), but the method of driving a sale through the legal stages to completion is equally important. This was all totally painless in the case of my experience. Would I use RH & RW Clutton again or recommend to friends/others – without any hesitation.”
