Direct Payments to Farmers

The Government has introduced the “Direct Payments to Farmers (Legislative Continuity) (DPLC) Bill, on Thursday 9^th January 2020. This is to guarantee the same level of direct payments (BPS) as for 2019, and is an interim piece of legislation in anticipation of the Agriculture Bill being introduce to parliament in the coming weeks.
