Petworth is a thriving old market town and from our Petworth office we handle all aspects of estate agency including residential sales and lettings, commercial property, as well as red book valuations, building surveys and advice about all matters concerning land. The team includes Peter Hughes (partner), as head of Residential Agency for the firm, who has over 35 years’ experience as an estate agent and is assisted by a proficient and energetic team made up of  Pippa Thorman, Catherine Myres and Kevin Urwin.  Robert Windle FRICS FAAV (partner) is a highly experienced land agent and valuer and Melville Wilson MRICS is the firm’s building surveyor.

The office is located in the centre of Petworth, in the heart of West Sussex and is within the South Downs National Park, surrounded by beautiful open countryside, only 50 miles south from central London and 20 miles from the south coast.  Petworth has a wide range of independent shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants and is also dominated by the historic Petworth House and deer park.  There are many leisure activities to be found in the area including golf at the West Sussex Golf Club, Pulborough, Cowdray Park, Midhurst, and at Goodwood. The Goodwood Estate also offers horse racing, motor racing including the Festival of Speed and The Revival meeting.  At Midhurst, the Cowdray Park Polo Club hosts the world-renowned Gold Cup.  We cover a broad area from Billingshurst and beyond in the East to Petersfield in the West and North and South of the A272 with the whole region providing extensive walking, cycling and riding opportunities along the miles of footpaths, bridleways and country lanes.
