DESCRIPTION
2 Glebe Villas is one of four attractive semi-detached Edwardian town houses situated on North Street, with far reaching views over The Shimmings Valley and within walking distance of Petworth Town centre. The attractive elevations include red brick with half clay tile hanging, under a high pitched roof covered in clay tiles and with attractive gable ends. Whilst the house appears to have been well maintained, it is now in need up updating and has the potential for extending into the loft and rear storage building, subject to all the necessary consents. The accommodation is light and bright and includes good size rooms, typical for a house of this period, with high ceilings and large windows. The entrance hall opens into the sitting room that has a lovely bay window and a fireplace currently fitted with a gas coal effect fire. An arch opens into the dining room, with a door to a pantry. There is also a door to the kitchen which is fitted with a range of modern units

On the first floor is a large landing with two fitted cupboards. There are 2 large double bedrooms and a large bathroom. The rear bedroom has stunning views over the garden and to The Shimmings Valley beyond.
At the front of the house is a pretty front garden. From the kitchen, steps lead out to a good size rear garden, which is gently sloped, with an area of paving at the top and the rest mostly laid to lawn with a few rose beds, and a selection of mature shrubs and trees. A brick outbuilding currently has an external wc and a large storage area. A gate to one side gives access to the side passage leading out to the front.
