Oliver Harwood at RICS South East Rural Conference

Oliver Harwood to speak at RICS South East Rural Conference

Kent, 12 Feb 2015

Keeping up to speed with the latest rural policy reforms and updates

The South East rural landscape is undergoing major changes, especially with the latest Growth Deal aiming at bolstering the economy. Government has announced that the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SE LEP) has secured a £442.2 million funding package to boost economic growth across East Sussex, Essex, Kent, Medway, Southend and Thurrock - with a particular focus on transport schemes that will bring new jobs and homes. This conference will provide you with the opportunity to be informed and updated on the opportunities presented by the changing landscape of the South East.

The conference programme also delivers relevant and timely updates on key topics for those in rural practice including for example CAP, tax and agricultural rent reviews. Land prices continue to confound expectations and the conference will also provide you with an insight into key drivers supporting the continued rise in land prices.

You can also hear the latest on the ever changing planning and development front and hear the facts on fracking from a surveyor's perspective.

Meet up with your colleagues from across the region to discuss debate and learn the latest solutions on rural issues at this must attend event, which can be counted towards your formal CPD points.
