George joined RH & RW Clutton in 2001 from Humberts in the Pewsey Vale where he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor.  George joined the equity in 2005 and has been Senior Director of the business since 2012.  George studied at the Royal Agricultural College, having been educated at Marlborough College, where he enjoyed his sport.  

George's expertise is in the management of Rural Estates.  His extensive knowledge of the local area and diverse range of clients means he has a great deal of experience in advising clients to utilise their resources as efficiently as possible to meet their objectives.  George's wide ranging skills include advising on planning and development matters, tax planning, strategic estate reviews, land sales and purchases, tenancy and staff issues, property and land diversification as well as forestry and farming.

George is married to Victoria, a former lawyer who is now RH & RW Clutton's Managing Director and has two daughters. His interests outside the office remain very rural, with two chaotic spaniels that require considerable exercise, shooting, playing cricket and tennis for local clubs and long walks in the Weald where he lives.

George is based in our East Grinstead office.
